These terms govern submissions provided for consideration for inclusion in the forthcoming collaborative book,  "The Formula of Success: Openness + Availability = Opportunity," (herein after referred to as "the book") currently planned for publication in 2027.

1. Permission to Use Submitted Material

By submitting this form, you grant Eric Pollard and the publisher permission to review, reproduce, edit, excerpt, condense, adapt, publish, distribute, and promote your submitted material in connection with the book, including print, digital, audio, promotional, and other publication formats worldwide.

Submitted material may be edited for length, clarity, grammar, consistency, and integration into the publication while preserving the intended meaning of your contribution.

2. Selection, Credit, and Compensation

Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the final publication. If your submission is selected, you understand and agree that your contribution is provided voluntarily and without monetary compensation, royalties, percentages of sales, or ownership interest in the book or publication.

Selected contributors will be appropriately credited and may identify and promote their inclusion in the publication for their own professional, marketing, and promotional purposes.

 

3. Ownership of Experiences and Authorized Use

You retain ownership of your personal experiences and original ideas. However, by submitting material for consideration, you grant the author and publisher the rights described in these terms to use your submitted contribution without future claims for compensation arising from its authorized use in the book or its promotion.

 

4. Originality and Rights to Submit

You represent that the material you submit is your own or that you otherwise have the right to provide it for publication, and that its authorized use will not knowingly violate the rights of another person or organization. Submissions may not contain plagiarized material or material presented as your own when you do not have the right to submit it.

5. Accuracy and Authenticity of Submissions

By submitting material for consideration, you represent that the experiences, events, and circumstances described in your submission are truthful and substantially accurate to the best of your knowledge and recollection. Submissions must reflect genuine personal experiences and may not contain knowingly false, fabricated, or materially misleading accounts presented as fact.

Artificial intelligence or other writing tools may be used to assist with grammar, organization, or expression; however, they may not be used to fabricate experiences, events, quotations, accomplishments, individuals, or other factual information presented as genuine. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of all material submitted under your name.

The author and publisher reserve the right to request clarification or reasonable verification of submitted information and to reject or remove from consideration any submission believed to contain fabricated, materially inaccurate, misleading, plagiarized, or otherwise inauthentic material.

6. Privacy and Contact Information

Your name, company information, email address, and other contact information collected through the submission form will be used solely for purposes related to the book, including communicating with you about your submission, requesting clarification or additional information, notifying you regarding possible selection or publication, and other matters directly related to the development, publication, or promotion of the book.

Your contact information will not be sold, rented, or provided to third parties for unrelated marketing or commercial purposes. Submission of the form does not enroll you in unrelated marketing communications or mailing lists.

If communication between you and Eric Pollard later develops independently beyond the scope of this book project, such communication is separate from the information-use permission provided through the submission form.

 

7. Agreement

By checking the agreement box and submitting the form, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms for Inclusion and Privacy provisions.
